Santa Cruz Metropolitan Transit District (SCMTD) Ð Scotts Valley Transit Center Scotts Valley, CA Ð As on-site resident engineer, managed a team of building, geotechnic, and structural inspectors. An unusually wet winter in the Santa Cruz mountains had created unanticipated groundwater and soil conditions that required Mr. Mog to develop a cost effective excavation solution to allow the project to proceed without undue delays to the schedule. In addition provided subdrainage solutions to prevent future damage to the bus and building areas.

Amtrak Rail Station, Oakland, CA Ð Managed the construction services for the geotechnical, structural, traffic and civil engineering construction elements of this new Amtrak station in Oakland. A unique element of this project was the steel fabrication for the roof trusses. The roof was a hyperbolic barrel vaulted structure with no two roof trusses being identical. Careful attention to the shop drawing reviews and constant coordination with the steel fabricator resulted in the successful completion of the structure.
